Malaysia Rugby Union Hosts ACTIVATE Superweek

With the picturesque backdrop of the Titiwangsa mountain range and fantastic training facilities at Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) in Tanjung Malim, Perak, the Malaysian Ruby Union (MRU) and USPI hosted the World Rugby ACTIVATE and Training & Education Superweek.

Participants ranged from all over Malaysia and also reached regional participants from Hong Kong, Indonesia, Iran and Botswana (Rugby Africa). The week included a number of Level 1 Courses with an emphasis on the Female Trainer & Educator courses. Having four of World Rugby’s Female Scholarship recipients in attendance for the Superweek was not only inspiring to participants but also a testament to World Rugby & Asia Rugby’s commitment to growing the Female workforce.

The week was rounded out with an ACTIVATE Educator Acquaint for both new and existing Educators and a large turnout of local participants across Coaching, Medical Strength & Conditioning and Match Officiating Level 1 courses, with quality assurance conducted for existing Educators.

Special thanks to the MRU & UPSI for hosting the World Rugby ACTIVATE Superweek!
