United Arab Emirates Rugby Federation signs a contract with the Kenyan Rugby Olympian Philadelphia Olando an Olympic participant for both Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020, Olando enjoys strong rugby profile and is believed to be very competent to lead the local full-Emirati women’s teams in UAE.
This comes after careful consideration and planning to raise the women’s rugby sport by introducing our Emirati women’s teams to competitive experience that should aid their development and solidify their rugby skillsets.
It’s worth noting too that, the UAE Senior National Women’s team secured their first position in the West Asian tournament back in October last year, which took place in Doha, Qatar.
